The Quest for the Golden Spade is over. We’ve sat down with Niwaki (they were cool about the stolen spade), sifted through the entries and judged our winner.

Andrew risked smashing his GoPro to smithereens in the pursuit of this prize winning picture, but managed to capture a magnificent slo-mo action shot of man and mattock working the soil.
And for this fine, expertly composed shot (and the fact that his socks match the lupins in the flower bed), we crown him the champ.
Andrew, your golden spade will be leaving Niwaki HQ and crossing the Severn Bridge in the next day or so.
